Di + Peter on Grey Likes Weddings
Calistoga Ranch, Calistoga
Di and Peter met by happenstance as a friends Christmas party. They went on their first date the next day and fell into an international romance which had Di in New York City and Peter in Hong Kong. Peter knew early on that Di was The One and told her so on quiet park bench just a few months into their relationship. After a few years of dating, Di moved to Hong Kong to be with Peter. He proposed to her on a romantic getaway to the Maldives. Di and Peter love the Napa Valley lifestyle and wanted their guests to enjoy all that wine country had to offer. They were married at Calistoga Ranch with a sophisticated color palette of whites, lilac and olive green. Everything about their day was the perfect representation of classic elegance.
It is with great excitement that we share Di & Peter's wedding featured on Grey Likes Weddings. Their wedding took place at Calistoga Ranch and captured by Sylvie Gil See all the gorgeous details here.

Leah & Rob on Wedding Chicks
Solage Calistoga, Calistoga
Leah and Rob were so adorable together and their details for the day reflected the sweet simplicity of themselves. Leah had envisioned their wedding to be rustic chic, elegant, fresh, romantic and of course intimate. We decided on a color palette with lush white flowers with subtle hints of pink and champagne. She handcrafted her alter, and various details inside the reception including the flower garlands. It was truly a sweetly romantic day.
We are head over heals excited to share this Wedding Chick feature of Leah & Rob's wedding. They were married at Solage Calistoga and perfectly captured by Matthias Photography and Uforia Films. See all the beautiful details here.
Leah & Rob have also been featured on Carats & Cake.

Gianna & Tim on Style Me Pretty
Solage Calistoga, Calistoga
Gianna & Tim's picturesque wine country wedding was featured in Style Me Pretty and if you scroll through the images below it's completely understandable why. With a soft color palate, luscious florals, and high end touches in the details, this weddings is as romantic as it is elegant. A note from the Bride:
From the Bride… We really loved working with Lindsey and Julia of L'Relyea Events. Together with my parents and my husband Tim, they really helped us to put on the wedding of our dreams at Solage Resort on July 13th, 2013.
Tim and I lived in Hermosa Beach at the time, so having someone as capable, organized and familiar with the area (and the resort) as Lindsey was a huge blessing! From the very first day that we met Lindsey, she reassured us in regards to EVERYTHING! She truly put me, Tim and my parents at ease from the get go and that feeling continued throughout our actual wedding day. That's a really important quality in a wedding coordinator because there are so many moments of "ahhhhhh craziness" and having some one who can take charge with grace was so appreciated! :)
Not only that, but Lindsey brought us some truly extraordinary vendors. She introduced us to the wonderful Amber McKenny of "Sweet On Cake", who made our beautiful and delicious wedding cake (and a fun surprise groom's cake to boot), the unbelievably talented designer, Emily Foran from "Three Little Words" who not only created our wedding invitations, but she made sooooo many day of materials that were beyond words fabulous, annnndddd she found the BEST florist, in Olivia Rivas of "Papillion Floral" (people to this day are still commenting on her work).
Lindsey and Julia truly helped us to bring a year's worth of planning to life. Tim and I loved just BEING at our wedding. Julia and Lindsey made it so that we didn't have to worry about anything that day. They were doing so much behind the scenes and helping to ensure that the entire day went perfectly and I can assure you, it most certainly was perfect.
I miss getting to speak with Lindsey on a daily/weekly basis! She is truly an amazing woman, an incredibly talented coordinator, and a true professional. She went ABOVE and BEYOND her "responsibilities" and for that we couldn't be more thankful. You are in great hands with her and Julia and they most certainly will help you in building and executing one of the best days of your life :)
The word that I keep hearing to describe our day was "magical". Thank you Lindsey and Julia for making that magic happen!

Parisian-Inspired Shoot on Style Me Pretty
San Francisco, CA
We are excited to share this Frech-themed shoot with you which was featured this week on Style Me Pretty! Click here to see the full feature. My inspiration came from my own obsession with France and my recent engagement in Paris. I see touches of Parisian and French influence here in Northern California, the romantic garden settings with dramatic architecture. For this shoot I wanted to acknowledge the soft pastels with a touch of modern sophistication and have fun which the French definitely know how to do! The SF City hall is such a dramatic and gorgeous backdrop for a ceremony, though nothing quite tops the eiffel tower. I dreamt of a sweet intimate wedding with the Eiffel Tower towering over them. Walking through the Jardin de Luxembourg with champagne in hand. Riding off in the sunset on our vespa to a dinner in the gardens.

Kim + Ryan on Style Me Pretty

From the Bride… As every bride does, more than anything I wanted our wedding to be a true reflection of us and full of the love we have for each other and our family and friends. We decided on a wine country wedding on July 14th, 2012 because we’ve gone up there many times during our relationship and love the comfortable elegance of so many places there. We were so excited to find a venue that was somewhere we had been together independent of wedding planning and reflected our style – we wanted it to feel comfortable and casual, but also classy and elegant.
My husband is from Vermont and loves big open space and farm animals. I am from Northern California and have always loved the beach. When we saw Solage and the combination of wine country, palm trees and a barn-like open door reception space, we new that was the place. While I thought the wine country would preclude us from a beachy feel, our designer, Kate, loved the idea of brining the beachy feel into our design, especially at Solage. To bring these themes together, our invitations featured cows in honor of Vermont and palm trees in honor of California. To bring the beachy theme to life, our name cards were on shells, we had a candle-lit shell lateen entrance, and yellow and white tropical flowers throughout. I also gave all the girls in the wedding party yellow and white flip-flops for dancing.
Bringing my husband’s, Vermont roots into the picture was where we had the most fun getting creative and throughout the reception we had a theme of “all of our favorite things.” Our specialty cocktails where lemonade and sweet tea vodkas served in mason jars with DIY name tags that we cut, stamped and tied with twine, along with a Vermont beer – Magic Hat that we brought in, especially for the reception. Our table names were all of our favorite things to do together – these included things like taking Sunday walks or Looking for cows. We started dinner with a Vermont Cheddar cheese amuse-bouche (one of our favorite snacks), we brought in steak from our favorite butcher in Palo Alto called “Fred’s Steak” that we eat all the time and cooked together on our third date, and we finished dinner with our favorite Vermont ice cream – a three tier Ben & jerry’s ice cream cake featuring 8 of our favorite flavors. Our favors were Vermont maple syrups.
Additional personal touches included our DIY programs from Minted that we made and tied ourselves, lots of candles which we love, a polaroid guest book so people could leave “messages from our favorite people” and an iPad set up to video for a video guest book so our guests could leave us “videos from our favorite people” throughout the evening which was a highlight on our honeymoon. We had an outdoor fire-pit, which is also one of our favorite activities and even managed to find a barn to take wedding party photos at for my husband, as well as a dog to take a photo with at Solage, just like we did for our save the date since we both love dogs, but own one ourselves yet. I surprised my husband with one of his favorite foods – chicken wings, made with his favorite recipe – as an additional late night snack.
As an extra special touch for the ceremony, we flew our priest out from Biloxi, Mississippi, who my husband had met and kept in touch with after volunteering after Hurricane Katrina. We had incredibly talented friends as our pianist and singers for our ceremony as well. The day was definitely comprised of all of our favorite things and our favorite people and we could not have asked for a more incredible wedding!
