Allison + Alex | Beltane Ranch

Last summer we had the pleasure of working with Allison + Alex on their whimsical wedding at Beltane Ranch. From the start, Allison knew that she would not have a lot of time to commit to planning her wedding. After being referred to us through a friend, we began working with Allison and Alex on achieving their dream wedding day while making the process efficient and effortless for them!

Like most modern brides, designs and inspiration were first gathered via a Pinterest board which soon became filled with soft neutral tones, whimsical draping, and beautifully displayed champagne flutes. With the help of our amazing creative partners and the beautiful backdrop of Beltane Ranch, Allison + Alex’s day went off without a hitch and was absolutely unforgettable!

Beneath the shade of ancient oak trees, Allison and Alex said “I do” in a beautiful ceremony that was officiated by Allison’s stepfather. Flowing white linens and strands of white poofs were delicately draped around the trunk of the tree that served at the backdrop to the ceremony site, setting the tone for the whimsical atmosphere that Allison had dreamed of. During the ceremony, the wedding party was seated with guests, allowing all eyes to be on the bride and groom as the two became husband and wife.

Following the ceremony, guests were treated to a beautiful cocktail hour on the lawn where comfortable vignettes, tray-passed hors d’oeuvres, and a fresh oyster bar by Hog Island Oyster Co awaited them. Guests then found their reception seating by way of champagne flutes displayed on Encore Events Rentals’ a-frame Drake Shelf, each glass accompanied by a name and table number. The reception that awaited was a truly stunning alfresco setting with a color palette of soft blush and creamy white, all set beneath the oak trees and strands of lights hung overhead.

Effortlessly elegant was the overall feel we were going for which was achieved through gorgeous florals designed by Hawthorn Flower Studio and tons of soft textures on the tabletops. Guest seating was a combination of wood farm tables with loose linen runners down the center and round tables draped in pale blush linens; all paired with wood bistro chairs with white cushions. Printed menus and a knotted linen napkin completed each setting in addition to gold flatware and crisp white china.

As the night wore on and the sun went down, the candles and lighting strung overhead began to glow and created the most romantic ambiance for the evening celebration. Heartfelt toasts were made, and Allison and Alex shared a memorable first dance as Lucky Devils Band played in the background. We feel so fortunate to have played a part in their happily ever after! Tatyana + Timor | Beltane Ranch

Tatyana and Timor’s gorgeous Beltane Ranch wedding had a timeless elegance like no other and we loved that their unique styles shined through in every way throughout the design of the day!

With classic makeup and a side swept bun done beautifully by Honey Do Artistry, Tatyana walked down the aisle in a vintage inspired ivory gown with lace sleeve details and a belted waist. Her stunning bridal bouquet by Mae Flowers was loose in structure and full of white blooms with hints of deep burgundy and various textures of greenery. Timor awaited her beneath the modest chuppah in a light grey three piece suit with a vibrant blue bow tie and pocket square. The breathtaking surroundings of the Sonoma Valley bed and breakfast provided the perfect, lush backdrop to their relaxed outdoor ceremony where they became husband and wife.

Their intimate reception catered by Beltane Ranch took place on the vibrant lawn beneath mature trees, providing the perfect amount of natural shade. Guests dined family style on a beautiful wooden table paired with vineyard chairs by Bright Event Rentals. Leafy green garland with touches of pink blooms served as a centerpieces running down the length of the table and cascading elegantly over the edge. Each guest’s seat featured a folded linen napkin, custom printed menu, silver flatware, and a bright green apple as the unique finishing touch.

We love getting to be part of such special moments in our couple’s lives and Tatyana and Timor’s unforgettable nuptials will forever stay with us!

F. Scott Fitzgerald once said that “life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall” and we perfectly agree. Lucky for us, Anna Kuperberg captured the whimsy of Gatsby, with a refined color palette and a touch of metallic, we get to indulge in a bit of 1920’s in Wine Country. The luxury and general aura of the roaring 20’s often serves as inspiration for many weddings, but this beaming couple did it right. From the couples adorned wedding logo sported throughout the event, to the fedoras and fascinators we provided guests to embrace the festive affair, the attention to detail and personality was thriving at this wedding.

I’ve become pretty convinced that Sonoma is the land where weddings have an extra special sparkle and this one right here reinforces that belief even more. Our hearts were fluttering at the many simple yet special details throughout the event: from the reoccurrence of their wedding logo throughout, to the checkered black and white dance floor with a full swing band, and elegant farm-to-table dining with rich Autumn tones, it was all swoon-worthy. This is what tends to happen when elegant details mix and mingle with rustic locales… pure, unadulterated happy. And when that backdrop is the beautiful Beltane Ranch? Well, it is just simply the icing on the cake. Wanting to play up the organic ranch beauty, we incorporated subtle Autumn details such as wooden tables & signage, bistro napkins with bare table tops, and an apple on each table setting. One of our favorite unique elements of this event, was the couples use of escort cards. Each guest received a coin with their name on it, and were asked to drop their coin into their choice of one of three boxes. Each box represented a charity that the couple would then make a donation for each guests coin. What a thoughtful and selfless alternative to the tradition escort cards!

This gorgeous Sonoma Valley wedding combined rustic beauty with 1920's inspired charm, a combination truly representative of the bride and groom. From the flapper fun attire to the art deco decor and details, we loved turning their vision into the perfect wedding day. Lucky for us, the amazing images from Anna Kuperberg Photography captures the day perfectly. Among the many beautiful florals and details of this wedding, the biggest highlight of the event was the plethora of local food vendors. How lucky we are to live in Wine Country, where artisan food vendors are plentiful and local ingredients are the norm. We had Hog Island Oyster Company chucking fresh local oysters on site, Cowgirl Creamery came in and schooled guests on every aspect of their locally cultured cheeses, and an entire pig smoked on site from Smoke.
